Teaching Philosophy
The faculty is passionate in their belief that
every human being has a right to pursue knowledge corresponding
with his/her dignity and God-given ability, regardless of
background or sex. In the early years, education is of the
utmost importance because through education and guidance the
children of today become the Christian citizens of tomorrow.
1. We believe in sharing our gifts with
others.
2. We believe that each individual is a unique and precious gift
from God.
3. We value diversity.
4. We believe that the gospel forms the basis of all learning,
and we strive to teach as Jesus did.
St. Mary School embraces the call of the Catholic Bishops of the
United States to express its educational ministry through the
objectives of personal spirituality, social justice, and a
strong academic program in accord with the Curriculum Guide for
Catholic Schools of the Diocese of Raleigh.
